Auditions will be held from 5:00 to 8 p.m. in 10-minute time slots at the First Presbyterian Church in Santa Fe. All are welcome to audition for contract singer positions. In addition to singing all of the four (4) selected audition pieces, to be considered for a paid position you will be asked to sight-sing and perform a prepared piece.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED IN PREPARATION FOR YOUR CHORUS AUDITION:

1. Singer Information Form — please print out the Singer Information Form and complete it prior to your audition. Please bring the completed form with you to your audition, if possible. If you have trouble printing the form, we will have blank copies available at the audition.

Please remember that if you qualify as a member singer, the annual dues of $35 are expected to be paid by the second rehearsal of the season. Income from dues allows the Symphony Chorus Council to invest in the Chorus by organizing vocal workshops, the ordering of study aids, other vocal improvement tools, and Chorus enhancement objectives. Dues also provide additional funds when needed for purchase of sheet music and vocal scores.
